We believe that any space or item being designed should do what the individual wants it to do. We are not swayed by "fashion trends" created by marketers on television and in shop windows. At Room To Improve we do not strive to be different for the sake of being different, we do not impose "our style" on you, but interpret your individual needs. This may mean researching special pieces, fabrics and accessories that are not available to the masses or alternatively using the most cost effective materials readily available. The result is about achieving your needs.
We plan what is needed for every room and where it will go before it is purchased. Interior decorating is not just "having an eye" for colour or recognizing quality furniture.
After understanding your requirements we sit down with you and begin the fun part of the process, what we call Project Inspiration. Together we "brainstorm" to come up with as many different ideas as possible before starting to narrow down your choices based on a number of different parameters of interior decoration that must be taken into account:

We look carefully at where you place furniture and at those areas that you expect children to reach, tidy up or have access. We also take into account safety and usability for older people.
